Jail

Free him from those walls
that are closing in on him,
Free him from that small place
before his light grows dim.

Free him from those eyes that
watch him as he goes walking
by,
Free him from that feeling of
just wanting to die.

Free him from the foul smell
and day old food,
Free him from having to use
that disgusting sixty-year old
stool.

Free him from the anger that
caused him to end up there
Free him from that orange
jumpsuit he never thought he
would ever have to wear,
Free him from that man
named Ta-Ta-licious
that may end up doing his
hair.

Free him from being known as
in-mate number 50321,
Free him from the bitterness of
how many visits he had, sadly to
say which were none.

Free him from what he believes
at the time maybe worse than
hell,
Free him from that place we
all try to stay clear of,
                                    Free him from Jail.
